A lot of information the first night but it was fun.
I feel it is important to a students education to expose them to technology. Some students are challenged when a teacher uses only oral presentation. A oral presentation can be enhanced with technologies, such as a digtal projector or an interactive whiteboard. By a teacher using different methods all learning styles can be reached. A teacher can use technologies to expose children with different culture and goble awareness without leaving the class room. The use of the internet can take children on a virtual journey of a musem or a classroom at the other side of the world. There are endless possiblies with the use of technology in a classroom. You made two great points in your reflection about both adapting the classroom environment for learning "preferences" ;) and creating a global community.
ReplyDeleteHow are you going to change/adapt/modify your classroom to meet your students needs? How will your thinking reflect how you approach your other education (and content area) classes?
I hope that I can give you more experiences in class to help you really understand the power of the internet for creating relationships. That is definitely a goal I have for this class.

Thank you for giving me somethings to think about with the students in a classroom. I like how you have goals to work toward. The outline you hand us helps a lot to follow along in class. I do have one suggestion under "Homework" you might put the Relection writing as number 1 then Read Chapter as number 2. :o) The weekend was great....hope you had a good one as well......
